Meet Daylin Boyd, LMFT

Daylin Boyd is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that meaningful change begins when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported.

Before becoming a therapist, Daylin spent more than 20 years in education as both a teacher and administrator. That experience shaped the way he approaches his work today—with curiosity, compassion, patience, and a deep appreciation for the unique experiences each person brings into the room.

Daylin holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and a bachelor's degree in Music Education and Composition. His clinical work focuses on trauma and helping individuals and couples navigate difficult experiences, relationships, and life transitions.

His therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from evidence-based and experiential approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT), Brainspotting, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic-informed interventions, Parent-Child Care (PC-CARE), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).

Daylin's style is warm, collaborative, and authentic. He believes therapy should be a place where people can show up as they are—without judgment—and develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the experiences that have shaped them.

As the owner and clinical leader of Heart Wide Open Therapy, Daylin is committed to creating a practice where both clients and clinicians feel supported, connected, and valued.

Our Mission

At Heart Wide Open Therapy, our mission is to create a compassionate, inclusive, and authentic space where people feel safe enough to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves and the people who matter most.

We believe meaningful therapy begins with genuine human connection. Our clinicians meet each person with curiosity, respect, and without judgment, recognizing that no two stories—and no two paths toward healing—are the same.

Through trauma-informed, evidence-based, and relationship-centered care, we help individuals, couples, and families better understand their experiences, build healthier relationships, and create meaningful and lasting change.

We are equally committed to supporting the clinicians who do this important work. By fostering a collaborative practice built around continued learning, professional growth, and connection, we strive to create an environment where exceptional therapists can thrive.

Our goal is simple: to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward—with their hearts wide open.

Heart Wide Open Therapy is more than just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in and what matters most to us, all made possible by a team of dedicated, compassionate clinicians.
